3 Wikis I really like
  1. http://www.wikipedia.org/ - Maybe not the most legitimate wiki for information, but by far the most used.
  2. http://www.wikia.com/Wikia - A good collection of wikis of all types of things
  3. http://marvel.wikia.com/Main_Page - For my inner nerd.
http://news.cnet.com/2009-1025-5944453.html - A great site discussing how wikis changed the world.

A few Wikis I liked:
www.**wiki**.com- great way to search a subject you maybe teaching
www.educationalwikis.wikispaces.com/- explains how a wiki can be used in education

www.pbworks.com/education - Kyle Davis... This used to be called PBwiki. This is a souped up tool that goes well beyond a wiki, but nevertheless a wiki can be incorporated into the classroom with this resource.

Wikis in Education - Cindy Rieger
Wikis are described beginning on page 26 of this slide show. I believe this does a great job of teaching how to incorporate wikis into the classroom as a tool. Students are learning to work together with their peers and as a community.
